This Monday’s full moon in Scorpio is what’s traditionally called a Flower Moon — named for the way nature bursts into bloom at this time of year. How fitting is that?
Because while Scorpio energy stirs up the emotional compost…
This moon is also about what’s ready to blossom!
This week’s Scorpio Flower Moon (peaking 12 May 2025 5.55PM BST) is a powerful one, and if you’re sensitive, you’re probably feeling it in your body, your emotions, and your energy. Maybe you’re feeling full. Maybe you’re questioning everything. Maybe it feels like something’s got to give… but you’re not quite sure what.
That’s exactly what this moon is about.
Scorpio brings emotional depth. Uranus brings disruption and insight. Put them together under a full moon and you’ve got the perfect moment to gently release what’s been weighing you down, and take one small, brave step toward the version of you that’s quietly ready to rise.
Why the Scorpio Flower Moon feels intense for sensitive souls
This moon brings up the tension between:
• The need for safety, stability, and emotional control
• The longing for freedom, authenticity, and change
• Old coping patterns that once protected you
• The version of you that’s ready to rise
Scorpio wants truth. Uranus wants freedom.
Together, they crack things open — sometimes suddenly.
You may feel torn between holding on and letting go. That’s completely normal.
But with the right support, this moon can be a powerful turning point — especially if you tend to feel things deeply.
An emotional alchemy ritual with botanicals, journaling, and tapping
This ritual helps you work with the energy of this moon, not against it. It combines flower essence support, self-reflective journaling, and a full EFT tapping round to help you regulate your system and transform what’s rising.
Step 1: Choose your flower essence for emotional support
Start by choosing an essence to work with. Place a few drops under your tongue, in water and sip as you journal and tap.
If you feel called to work with more than one, place two drops of each in a glass of water. Working with it through the transition, you can do this in a drink four times a day - so breakfast, lunch, supper and bedtime can help you remember.
• Walnut — For transitions, cutting energetic cords, and staying steady as you change
• Mimulus — For fear of known things (e.g. change, visibility, conflict)
• Aspen — For fear of the unknown, when you’re not sure why you’re anxious
• Rock Water — For inner rigidity, high expectations, or fear of ‘getting it wrong’
Let your chosen essence support you. Breathe with your intention for the essence for a moment before you begin.
Step 2: Journal what’s ready to be seen
Take a few quiet minutes to explore what this moon is stirring in you. No pressure to figure it all out, just an honest check-in with yourself.
• What am I still holding onto because it feels safe or familiar?
• What feels like it’s shifting — even if I’m not sure what comes next?
• What am I afraid might happen if I let go?
• If I felt safe enough to grow, what would I move toward?
Can you let whatever comes up welcome? This is about making space for your truth.
Step 3: Tap to process emotion and transform what’s rising
Bring what surfaced into your body and nervous system through this gentle tapping sequence.
If you’re new to EFT, follow this step-by-step guide. It includes a diagram of the tapping points to follow.
Tapping Script: Letting Go and Rising

Another part of me knows something’s shifting

But maybe it’s okay to feel this

I don’t have to rush

I’m allowed to move slowly

But so is my inner strength!

One step at a time

It’s a compass

It’s how I change things
